Stay in the Car!
Think of your efforts to reach weight goal as a car trip. Whether it's a drive across town or cross-country--whatever the starting point or destination--a journey lies ahead. Take it one mile at a time! Most important, expect some red lights and road hazards along the way, and remember: They don't mean the trip is over; they're just part of the ride.

All car trips, after all, can present surprises--from wrong turns to detours and traffic jams. Do you get out of the car and give up? Not if you want to get where you're  going. You ask for directions, turn the car around, wait out the jam. The trip might take longer than you planned, or take you on a different route, but as long as you STAY IN THE CAR, you will arrive! When it comes to weight loss, the same rules of the road apply.

Never lose sight of your destination, the reason you set out on the journey, or the benefits of arriving. For smoother traveling, anticipate your personal detours, where you might need to yield, what you need along the trip, whom you can turn to for help. Map out a plan and, most important of all, keep driving!

And if you ever do get a little lost along the way, could use a little navigational help, or just want some on-the-road companionship, please don't hesitate to be in touch! Why the "Stay in the Car" website?
I created this website for the members of my Weight Watchers meetings
and for our friends--to help all of us travelers along the weight-loss road by making the trip a little easier, a little smoother, and more FUN. Think of this as a place to pull over and visit whenever the road gets bumpy or an obstacle appears in your path. You never need to feel you're all alone.
I take full responsibility for all the information and opinions presented on this site, and no other entity or individual is in any way liable for any of its content.
May your journey be successful, and blessed with joy--just as you continuously bless mine.
